Course Objectives
Course Overview:
Date: September 21, 2021
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm (Eastern Time)

Only 1 in 10 people selected for promotion to supervisor already possess the skills needed to lead a team effectively, according to a recent Gallup poll. The good news is this skill set can be easily learned. We all know that the single most important attribute of any great leader is their ability to communicate effectively with the confidence that inspires everyone around them.
Promotions usually go to high achievers who know how to produce results. The only problem is that experience doesn’t prepare you for the complex demands of leading a multigenerational team of high achievers because you aren’t doing the work anymore - you are now
leading the people who do the work. This shortcoming leads many motivated supervisors to try and “fake it ‘til you make it” but the stakes are too high these days - both for you and for your officers. Fortunately, confidence comes from competence and you will earn it through mastery of the material presented.

By the end of this course, you will learn:
● How to communicate effectively and confidently throughout your organization
● What motivates the different generations and how to successfully communicate with each one
● Tips to overcome the challenge of leading a team that has members who are older or more experienced than you
● Positive ways to proactively address discipline issues in a way that improves morale and performance while building trust between you and your team
● Strategies to harness the power of effective communication to inspire your team to achieve great results while being engaged in the work and having fun
This course provides advanced training in Effective Communication for Multigenerational Teams so you can master the #1 skill needed to lead a team successfully. In addition to learning the theories behind these concepts, you will also learn through case studies that have been drawn from the successes (and failures) of previous supervisors, so you don’t have to learn your important lessons the hard way.
Enroll in this course now if you want to build your self-confidence and strengthen your ability to communicate with the impact that will be recognized by everyone in your organization.
PLEASE NOTE: You will receive an E-mail 2 days prior to the event that will include a link to join the training.
